Away from winter, Erica loves hiking, and family adventures that make the most of living in the Alps.
Chris Thorne has been skiing since the age of four and has called Zermatt home for nearly two decades. He loves helping guests discover hidden corners of the mountain, build confidence on their skis, and share in the thrill of a great day on the slopes. When winter ends, you’ll find him swapping skis for a kite or surfboard and getting as much time on the water as possible, always chasing the next adventure.
With over 20 years ski teaching in Zermatt, John is a well-known face on the mountain and in the village. He feels every day on snow is an opportunity to have a great day so making the most of it is important. When not skiing John can be found researching the latest equipment, techniques and news from the snowsports industry, a real ski geek.
Rob Greatbach Mountain fanatic Rob fell in love with Zermatt when he 1st came ,on a family holiday over 25 years ago. He now lucky enough to call it home every winter, while working as a ski instructor. His passion is helping visitors get the best out of their time in Zermatt. Be that helping them find the best snow, a perfect photo spot, a lively Apres ski or the most beautiful restaurant. When the snow melts you will find him running on the many beautiful trails around Zermatt or watching an array of live sports and music, and just occasionally working as an Optometrist.
