One of the famous Findeln restaurants. Once you get past the famously gruff owner, you find yourself on a superb, large terrace with fabulous views. The main restaurant was renovated in recent years and has a more modern feel than rustic charm. The menu follows suit with a contemporary take on the traditional Swiss classic dishes. The speciality here is a whole chicken roasted over an open fire on the terrace. It’s not on the menu but is a perennial ‘dish of the day’.
Adlerhitta is host to numerous party events through the winter. Check their schedule for the Brazilian Samba party or end of season pond skim.
You get to Adler by skiing the blue run (6) from Sunnegga to Findeln. Keep right when the piste splits and you will follow the path directly to the restaurant door.
For hikers
Walkers – Walkers can get here too, usually walking down the side of the piste and then back up to Sunnegga after lunch.
