A modern mountain hut on the Theodulpass between Switzerland and Italy. The dining room has huge windows looking back over the Cervinia ski area and the Italian side of the Matterhorn. A large fireplace is perfect to warm up on colder days. The menu is simple and basic but good and reasonably priced.
You can reach the Rifugio when you ski back from Italy via the Theodulpass. Take the 3 chairlifts up from Plan Maison in Italy and ski back towards Switzerland. The Rifugio is on your left hand side.
