One of the largest terraces in the area, and they made it big for good reason. Fantastic Matterhorn views and sunshine until the slopes close. Although it lacks traditional rustic charm, it is a perfect spot for a slopeside break.
The menu of paninis, burgers etc is simple but good and usually food appears pretty quickly. A great place to eat if you’re in a hurry.
Right at Blauherd, between the Rothorn cable car station and top of the Hublo chairlift.
For hikers
Walkers – Easy access for walkers, take the Sunnegga Express up to Sunnegga and then switch to the Blauherd bubble. Once you arrive at the Blauherd lift station take the elevator up and you will see the Blue Lounge just ahead of you as you walk outside.
