Ze Seewjinu

«Simple, tasty and with that certain something» is how Ze Seewjinu describe their food. The mountain lodge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is lovely on a cold day by the fire, even just for a coffee stop.

Blue Lounge

One of the largest terraces in the area, and they made it big for good reason. Fantastic Matterhorn views and sunshine until the slopes close. Although it lacks traditional rustic charm, it is a perfect spot for a slopeside break.

The menu of paninis, burgers etc is simple but good and usually food appears pretty quickly. A great place to eat if you’re in a hurry.

Buffet Bar Sunnegga

This is a large self service restaurant. The location is super convenient (right at the top of the Sunnegga Express lift and on the side of the piste) and makes a great coffee stop or place to meet non skiers. The buffet style means you can get your lunch quick if you want to minimise time off the slopes.
While the food is good, it’s not really comparable to the meals you find in the mountain restaurants, and the prices are not that much cheaper either.

Buffet & Bar Riffelberg

A large self service restaurant and handy place to stop if you are skiing the Gornergrat area, and a particular favourite of kids. It can get busy on bad weather days and high season but there is lots of seating both inside or outside on the large terrace. The views over to the Matterhorn are fabulous.

Restaurant Chalet Ried

This restaurant is on one of the home runs and is not a million miles from town. This means it has a fantastic terrace overlooking the village and is a great spot to stop and soak up the last rays of the sun before it drops behind the Matterhorn on the home run.

The menu is mainly traditional fare but of a good standard and, while the owner can be a little brash and Basil Faulty like, the staff are generally very friendly.

Snowflake

Snowflake is the restaurant in the Hotel Principe della Nevi in Cervinia. This smart hotel has a relaxed lunch menu at Snowflake, with great burgers and simple pasta dishes. In the spring they often have a DJ playing outside and the fun atmosphere becomes part restaurant part apres ski.

Restaurant Farmerhaus

Farmerhaus is a warm and cosy mountain restaurant. Simple traditional dishes are a favourite here, and the pizzas a particularly popular with the kids. A nice relaxed spot for meet for lunch.

Gitz Gädi

Gitz Gädi is the restaurant in the Hotel Silvana just above Furi. They have plenty of local specialties and traditional dishes to try but also offer some great salads and lighter dishes. The atmosphere is warm and cosy inside, and you’ll find it very welcoming on a cold day with the large fireplace in the dining room.

Marmo

This is a cosy mountain restaurant where a warm atmosphere and good local food can be found. Just steps away from the Furi gondola station, Marmo is in a perfect location at the bottom of the Furgg Furi black run or the Weisse Perle red from Schwarzsee. It is open for lunch daily (with limited availability in summer) and two special themed dinner evenings each week (“Cheesy Tuesday” and “Schnitzel Thursday”), Marmo offers unforgettable culinary experiences framed by alpine ambiance and warm hospitality.
